Grey's Anatomy DVD was picked up for a 7th season for the 2010-2011 television season on May 14 and returned on September 23, 2010. Jesse Williams and Sarah Drew, who played Dr. Jackson Avery and Dr. April Kepner in season six, have been promoted to series regulars. James Tupper has been cast as Dr. Andrew Perkins, a trauma counselor, for at least two episodes in the seventh season.
