Linking StrategyI've always worked on the belief that linking your pages together through a navigation bar would help search engines crawl your site. However i am now working with a client who has a extremely awkward site layout. A lot of the pages aren't directly linked together (some not at all ). I've got a sitemap with a link to it inside the front page of the site. Will this cause search engines problems and decrease rankings? Or should i just get the moaning site owner to change it around. Thanks to anyone who can help

Thanks to anyone who can help Yes and No both sitemap will helps but only in indexing page in google. pages get strength with its internal linking structure.

Linking StrategyIt is actually one of the easier tasks to get a google position for search term, especially if you see that the existing listing are directory type spam sites.

Linking StrategyHello, Many SEOs evangelize the need to "act natural" when building links to a domain. "Links should have a variety of anchor text," and "links should be pointed to deeper pages than just the home page" are tenets that will remain valuable when considering link development.
