What is better for social media?Hello, My question is a pretty simple one. We are looking to build up our social media presence. I understand the importance of being active within the social media community and to actively contribute quality thoughts and content. My question is whether it is better to have one profile that is very active across all subjects or would it be better to have multiple profiles that focus on different niches such as technology, real estate,... I would imagine it would be better to have one profile that covers all categories but did know if niching down would allow for more effective results for specific categories. Thanks,

What is better for social media?It really depends on the site or sites with which you're working. If their subject matters are very diverse, you're probably better off creating multiple accounts. However, this splits up your subscribers / followers, so if the site or sites are narrow enough, you can get away with using just one account. The benefit to having just once account is building the largest possible number of friends / followers / subscribers and developing a high level of recognition and trust within social media communities. However, if the account needs to talk about both real estate and computer programming (for example), it's best to use multiple accounts.
