Google danceGoogle sends out robots (spiders) to archive every website it finds. These websites will be presented in the next update of the Google index. The update process is usually done about every 30 days. Several days before the updated database is available on the main Google server, you can get a preview of the new data index on 5 other google data centers. The SERPs or search engine results pages vary during these updates allowing you to query and "see into the future" of where your site will be listed in the results before the main database is updated.

Google dancegoogle crawl is different to google dance.
google dance is when google crawl your website and (normally when your website is new) its search engine ranking goes up and down dramatically. thats called google dance. it will calm down after some time - could be 1 month 1 week or in worst cases 6 monthes.
if it is 6 month then your website will be in sandbox.
and sara google update every website differently. but normally it is once a week.

Google danceGoogle crawling is completely different than Google dancing. Google dancing means Google changes your rank drastically. For example today if your SERP is in top 10 and tomorrow it is out of 100. Then it's called Google Dance.

These major Google index update occurred on average every 36 days or 10 times per year. It was easiest be identified by significant changes in search results, and by an updating of Google's cache of all indexed pages. This update hardly stays for a week or may be 10 days but not more than that.

Google danceGoogle dance is term use for that condition when position goes up and down in search results. Google dance would happen anywhere up to 36 times per year, however in 2003 The search engines started changing its catalog regular, which all but removed the Google dance.
